The Cooldown Manager that arrived on September 24 grows in the October 1 beta build. Rogues can now test it, joining the five classes it started with, and it tracks racial abilities too. The duplicate entry it showed for every rank of a spell is gone for the classes it already supported.

Gamepad play gets its own round of fixes. The pet stable works with a controller, and so do the compact raid and party manager frames. The gamepad’s own bindings are now static: rebinding a button changes only the keyboard and mouse setup, not the gamepad’s. A bug that stopped macros on a gamepad action bar from being moved is fixed.

Blizzard also lists a gamepad known issue: switching the Gamepad UI on or off resets your Edit Mode layout to the default preset.

Why it matters: Rogue testers can now try the Cooldown Manager, and controller players get a steadier setup.
