A customizable tracker for buffs and cooldowns is live for five classes, off by default.

The Cooldown Manager was already in the beta on September 18, when Blizzard’s known issues called it a work in progress, further along for some classes than others. The September 24 beta notes give it its own section: a tracker that pulls buff- and action-bar information into one customizable spot on screen. It’s off by default; turn it on in Options under Gameplay Enhancement settings.

Only Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior and Warlock can test it so far, with more classes planned for later builds. Blizzard says it doesn’t support spell ranks yet and is asking testers which spells they’d want the tool to track by default.

Why it matters: if it ships with Forever, an official cooldown tracker is one less add-on to hunt down.
