The beta's first bug list

Blizzard’s Kaivax posted a known issues list for the Forever beta on its opening day. Barber chairs currently cause a Lua error, and opening the Legacy panel with its “Y” hotkey before level 25 also throws Lua errors on two of its tabs. The character pane doesn’t yet show level, class, or titles, and Coldridge Valley doesn’t reveal on the map when explored.

Several issues touch class mechanics: Night Elf Priests’ Starshards racial doesn’t benefit from the Twilight Focus talent, Retribution Paladins’ Vengeance talent can proc off periodic critical strikes, and pet stats for Hunters and Warlocks are missing or misdisplayed on the character sheet. Glancing Blow chance and damage reduction are also listed as incorrect at several levels.

As a workaround for a guild charter bug, Blizzard has temporarily allowed charters to be handed in with no signatures. Blizzard says the post will be updated as issues are fixed or added.

Why it matters: beta testers hitting barber chairs, the Legacy panel, or class talent oddities in week one are seeing known bugs, not something to report as new.
