How to earn Legacy points

The 65 ways the beta client lists, one point each, 65 in all, in Blizzard's own words; the grouping into kinds is ours. Blizzard says up to 65 are earnable at launch and only 16 spendable per character, the rest feeding the cosmetic reward track. Wowhead's datamined list and our Legacy section say the same from the other side.

How the rules work

Each tree opens its second tier after five points in the tree and its third after ten, as the client's own gates say; an arrow means a perk needs the one before it at full rank. Sixteen points is the launch cap Blizzard stated.

The empty slots

Each tree carries two slots the client marks "to be added in a future update". They take no points here and fill in when a beta build fills them; the build is named above.

Tree names

The client's tree rows carry no title. Each tree is named by a perk Blizzard's Deep Dive recap places in it: Well Rested for Adventure , Bountiful Harvest for Professions , Reagent Economy for Resourcefulness . Blizzard — Deep Dive panel recap.

Datamined Perks, their texts and the point sources are the Forever beta client's own, build 1.60.1.69913, read 2026-09-20; the calculator checks that a plan is legal, not that it is good. Not yet verified in play. All tools
