16 Legacy points granted, dungeon XP up about 20%

Every beta player has the Legacy Challenge's 16 Legacy points. Dungeon kills give about 20% more XP.

The October 8 build gives all beta players completion of the Legacy Challenge, which awards 16 Legacy points to try the whole system, as Blizzard planned on October 1. The cheapest re-spec of those points now costs 1 silver, and the cost comes down by one re-spec every hour. Blizzard says that works much like re-speccing class talents, and only during the beta.

The same build raises the XP from dungeon kills by about 20%, and fixes the party XP bug Aggrend described. The penalty for killing lower-level enemies in a party had been worked out from the party’s highest-level member. It now follows each player’s own level, as in Classic Era. As before, if anyone in the party is far above the enemy’s level, no one in the party gets XP for it.

Why it matters: testers can now try the whole Legacy system, and Blizzard expects most players to earn far more XP in dungeons.
