Ghost Wolf's bright look is temporary, fix coming

Since the latest beta build, Shamans have found Ghost Wolf glowing a far brighter blue than before, bright enough that players joked it works as a flashbang. Senior Game Designer Aidan Moon answered on social media that the old look will return, though it will take some time.

The glow is a stopgap. Wowhead, describing Moon’s post, says the old Ghost Wolf could hardly be seen in low-light zones, and the extra brightness covers for that until a permanent fix is ready, after which the form should look as it used to. Blizzard’s notes for the October 1 build put the problem the other way round: they list a fix that makes Ghost Wolf easier to see in well-lit areas.

Why it matters: Shamans running around in a glowing wolf form shouldn’t get used to it.
