Priests. Devouring Plague can now land critical strikes. Shadow Word: Death now gets the Early Demise talent’s bonus only when the target’s health calls for it, not always. Discipline’s Inner Focus stops adding crit chance to periodic effects, and Shadow Weaving no longer fails to apply.

Rogues. A missed Expose Armor no longer costs all your combo points. Subtlety’s Setup only adds combo points to your current target when that target is the one you dodged or whose spell you resisted.

Shamans. Ghost Wolf is easier to see in bright areas, Disease Cleansing Totem lasts its full 5 minutes, and Totemic Recall now restores mana as intended.

Racials. Gnome’s Eureka! no longer helps periodic effects at all, though channeled spells do not count as periodic; Blizzard lists Eureka missing some damage and healing spells as a known issue. Blizzard’s September 24 notes had already changed Eureka! so that, for every class, it takes 10% off the cost of abilities paid for with Mana, Rage or Energy (our entry). Undead can’t use Cannibalize while immune to Physical damage.

Our copy of build 1.60.1.70170’s files shows the Devouring Plague, Inner Focus, Disease Cleansing Totem and Eureka! changes. Datamined wowforever.ninja — Forever's client files, build 1.60.1.70170

Why it matters: Devouring Plague can now crit, while Gnomes lose Eureka! on damage over time.
