Trading with strangers will soon show an RMT warning
Botters and gold buyers keep facing action, beta and live. Illicit gold can get your account closed.

Blizzard’s Kaivax says the team has kept taking action against accounts that botted to farm gold in the World of Warcraft: Forever beta, and against accounts found to have bought or knowingly received illicit gold. That will continue through the beta and into the live game after launch. It follows an earlier warning about gold buying.
A new warning is coming to the game, shown whenever you trade with a stranger. It opens with “Be wary of accepting gold from unknown or suspicious sources,” then warns that taking gold from someone involved in RMT could get your account closed, and points to a Blizzard support article.
Blizzard restated its stance: an account found to have made, sold, bought or received illicit gold can lose that gold, be suspended, or be closed for good.
Why it matters: taking gold from a stranger can put your account at risk, and the game will soon remind you every time you trade with one.
