Hunter and Warlock pets get Aggressive mode back
Aggressive mode is back in the pet tab. Sniper Shot reaches 45 yards, and Soul Harvest finally restores mana.

Both pet classes get Aggressive mode back in the October 1 beta build, under the pet tab of the spellbook. Blizzard also fixed tameable beasts whose pet abilities were ranked too high for the creature, which could make a pet seem to forget an ability.
For Hunters, the Marksmanship capstone Sniper Shot reaches 45 yards, and for 10 seconds afterwards your next 3 shots reach 10 yards further. Survival’s Deflection gives 1 to 5% parry by rank, down from 2 to 10%. Improved Stings and Predator’s Edge get icons that feel more like the original game.
For Warlocks, Affliction’s Soul Harvesting is renamed Soul Harvest and now gives its 50 or 100% mana regeneration as intended. Hellfire can crit, Drain Soul stops when you start casting something else, and the Incubus uses a lower-resolution model.
Our copy of build 1.60.1.70170’s files agrees on Sniper Shot, Deflection, the new icons and Soul Harvest’s name. See the Hunter and Warlock calculators.
Why it matters: pets can be set to attack on their own again, and Sniper Shot builds gain real reach.
