Dungeon drops of Uncommon or Rare quality unlock the look for the whole group

Bind-on-pickup Uncommon and Rare items from dungeon bosses now grant their transmog appearance to everyone eligible when looted, not just whoever wins the roll. Raids and Epic drops stay as before.

Forever’s transmog system (see our earlier coverage) has a group-loot detail Blizzard hadn’t specified before. When a bind-on-pickup Uncommon or Rare item drops from a dungeon boss, its appearance is granted to every eligible looter the moment it’s looted — so a player who needs the item as a gear upgrade no longer has to compete against someone who only wants the look.

Blizzard says the rule is dungeon-specific. In raids, loot decisions stay with the raid group as usual, and Epic items grant their appearance only to the player the item binds to.

Why it matters: it removes one of the classic sources of loot-roll friction in five-mans without touching how raid loot or top-end drops work.

Tracked on everything we know.
