Library books in WoW: Forever: every book's location and the rewards
Where to find all 40 library books in World of Warcraft: Forever, by level band with a map pin for nearly every one, what the librarians in Stormwind City and Undercity give at 10, 20 and 25 books, and a tracker to tick off the ones you have handed in.

Forever has 40 library books lying around the world. Loot one, hand it to a librarian in Stormwind City or Undercity, and rewards come at 10, 20 and 25 books handed in. The places below come from two community guides, each row with its sources; none has been checked in our own Forever play yet.
25 of the 40 books are in a capital or in a zone whose levels start below 40, enough for all three rewards before level 40.

Each tier is a quest the librarian offers once you have handed in enough books. The counts come from the two community guides; the first two quests and their rewards are in our beta cache.

Where to hand in
- Method says each faction hands its books in at its own capital's library: Garion Wendell for the Alliance, Owen Thadd for the Horde.
- Warcraft Tavern says either Stormwind City or Undercity takes them, one at a time, with no need to hold them all.
- Every book counts for both factions: the hand-in quests carry no faction in our beta cache, and no book has a race limit in Forever's files.

Notes
- Rumi of Gnomeregan lies in two inns, but only one copy counts: once you have it from one, the other cannot be picked up.
- A book deleted from your bags cannot be looted again, as things stand; one source.
- Every place on this page is a community report. Once Forever is live, our collector’s play checks them, and a place it confirms will say so.

- How many library books are there in WoW: Forever?
- Forever's files hold 40 books, each described as an addition to any library's collection. Two community guides, Method and Warcraft Tavern, give where they lie; they agree on most and differ on a few, and this guide shows both where they differ.
- What are the library book rewards?
- The librarians reward you at 10, 20 and 25 books handed in, by both community guides. At 10, Friend of the Library gives a choice of two amulets; at 20, Greater Friend of the Library gives a choice of two rings; the third tier offers Truthseeker's Bow, Crest of Elucidation or Researcher's Night Light, which Blizzard says need level 40.
- Where do you hand in library books?
- To Garion Wendell in Stormwind City's Mage Quarter or Owen Thadd in Undercity's Magic Quarter. Method says each faction uses its own capital's library, Warcraft Tavern says either city takes them; the hand-in quests carry no faction in our beta cache.
