The Skyborne's home and starting experience, levels 1 through 12: an elemental, skybound island blending Classic Warcraft aesthetics with architecture inspired by Skywall. Blizzard's Found Photos recap tells its story: rebels who fled Eldre'Thalas after the War of the Ancients found refuge in Skywall, where wind spirits anchored their island in the elemental plane; now their benefactors have vanished and the pylons holding Zephras together are failing. Playing here requires the Skyborne Heroic Pack or a higher edition.

The Skyborne, "also known as the shen'dorei or hidden people," descend from rebels who fled Eldre'Thalas after the War of the Ancients and found refuge in Skywall. When players arrive, their elemental benefactors have vanished, the pylons that hold Zephras together are failing, and the Windshapers, the High Order and the Al'Aketh vie for control.
