The Riverglades gets a Ring of Blood-style arena

Blizzard’s seven-minute video “Your Leveling Journey Past 30”, posted on October 19, walks through the zones beyond the beta’s level cap: the Riverglades and Mount Hyjal. It retells the Riverglades stories already described in September, Alliance players meeting the Brotherhood of the Horse and Horde players the Boulderrock ogres, with both sides fighting the Twilight’s Hammer.

It also shows something new: an arena deep inside the Riverglades’ ogre lands, where you fight the ogres’ best brawlers. Wowhead names it the Bloodmasters Ring, likens it to Burning Crusade’s Ring of Blood quest series, and says the zone opens to players around level 36.

In Hyjal, the road is open for the first time since the Third War. Players work with the Druids of the Talon and the Cenarion Circle as uneasy Horde and Alliance neighbours, and the 10-player Barrow Deeps raid waits there.

Why it matters: past the beta’s level cap, the Riverglades has an ogre fighting ring to look forward to as well as its faction stories.
