Paladin deep dive closes out Forever's class series

Blizzard’s Paladin deep dive closes out its class deep dive series. Talents open at level 10, with gold medal talents at 11, 16, 21 and 31 points (16 is new), and Dual Specialization unlocks at level 40.

Protection gains Seal of Fury at level 10: a tanking seal that adds steady bonus Holy damage per melee swing, grants an absorb of half that bonus damage, which does not stack, and turns the seal’s Judgement into a taunt reaching 10 yards, twice the 5-yard range of Warrior Taunt or Druid Growl. Templar’s Bulwark, a new 21-point gold medal talent, shields for 100% of max health on a 5-minute cooldown and triggers Forbearance. Seal Twisting, no longer baseline, returns through Retribution’s new 31-point talent Twist of Light, under which a damage-dealing Seal leaves an Echo when replaced, so both the old and new Seal count on the next melee swing.

Why it matters: Protection gets a taunt that reaches farther than any other tank’s, and Retribution players who take Twist of Light can Seal Twist with less strict timing.
