Elemental Mastery returns and Shaman totems go raid-wide

In the October 15 beta build, Grace of Air, Strength of Earth, Windfury and Flametongue Totems reach the whole raid, and Grace of Air no longer excludes Windfury or Flametongue (those two still exclude each other). Windfury and Flametongue Totems now affect only players. Chain Lightning costs about 35% less mana at every rank, and Fire Nova’s base damage, Spell Power coefficient (0.143, was 0.214) and mana cost all fall sharply.

• Elemental: Elemental Mastery returns as the 31-point gold medal talent: it takes 0.5 seconds off the cast time of Lightning Bolt and Lava Burst and removes Chain Lightning’s cooldown for 15 seconds, on a 3-minute cooldown, with Lava Burst required. Lava Burst moves to the fifth row as the 21-point gold medal talent, with a new rank 4 and no prerequisite, and Earthbound moves to the fourth row as the 16-point one. Call of Thunder is removed, Elemental Reach also shortens Totemic Projection’s cooldown, and Call of Flame also extends Flame Shock.
• Enhancement: Stormstrike costs 8% of base mana (was a flat 125), its debuff isn’t spent when your spell misses, and other players or pets can no longer spend it.
• Restoration: Mana Tide Totem gains a rank at level 38. Water Shield can trigger from any critical spell, not just heals, and Restorative Totems now boosts all of Healing Stream Totem. Tidal Focus and Totemic Focus swap rows.

Wowhead’s datamine also lists Fire Resistance Totem among the Shaman buffs changed in this build, in an article on buffs going raid-wide Datamined Wowhead — datamined tooltips from the October 15 build.

Why it matters: a Shaman in the raid now buffs everyone with their totems, and Elemental’s 31-point talent is a burst cooldown again.
