A sword found in the beta can make a Mage more of a Battle-Mage

In the same JackedIQ interview, Blizzard’s Holly Longdale and Clay Stone first gave a caution: some players online have been a little creative, and not all of what is circulating may be true. They then said WoW: Forever has things hidden in it that may change the way you choose to play your class.

The example they gave is a sword players found in the beta, one that could make a Mage more of a Battle-Mage for those who choose to use it. They did not name it. Blizzard said it was really excited by how excited players were, and that there may be more items like it hidden in the game.

Why it matters: an item can change how a class plays in Forever, and Blizzard says more may be hidden for players to find.
