Shaman quest chain at level 30 rewards new weapons

A player on Reddit, MrPhage1, has laid out a Shaman quest chain that opens at level 30, and Wowhead relays the steps. It follows the Wind Totem quest and ends with Bath’rah the Windwatcher in Alterac Mountains, who offers a choice of Lightning’s Grasp, Tidebringer’s Claw or Rage of the Storm, plus Elementalist’s Guard.

By the player’s account, the way there means looting the last boss of Razorfen Kraul, gathering 20 twisted totems across Dustwallow Marsh, Desolace, the Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands, and beating waves of level 40 elites in Thousand Needles.

Blizzard’s October 8 beta notes make two of those steps easier. For Storm, Earth, and Fire, the creatures respawn faster and drop their twisted totems more often, more of them can drop totems, among them Maraudine Scouts for the Twisted Air Totem, and Dustbelcher ogres across the Badlands now drop the Twisted Fire Totem too. And the Eye of the Tempest, which Heed My Call asks for, can now be looted by more than one player.

Why it matters: if you play a Shaman, there’s a level 30 chain worth chasing for a new weapon, and two of its steps are now quicker.
