Every Poison gets more charges and can now share a weapon with a temporary enchantment such as a Weightstone or Sharpening Stone. Sap no longer breaks Stealth. One-handed axes also join the Rogue’s weapon skills. A new 21-point gold medal talent, Mutilate, strikes with both daggers at once for 60 Energy, hitting harder against a Poisoned target and awarding 2 Combo Points, and a new 31-point finisher, Venom, boosts Poison damage and application chance for a duration based on Combo Points spent.
Curse of Agony and Curse of Doom become Banes, and each Warlock can have only one Bane active on a target at a time, separate from their Curses; Curse of Shadows is removed. Firestone and Spellstone become weapon imbues that can share a weapon with a temporary enchantment such as Wizard Oil, and demons now draw on the Warlock’s own stats. Affliction’s new 31-point gold medal talent, Wrack, is a drain-style Shadow spell that also makes the target take 10% more from the Warlock’s other Shadow dots for 6 seconds, and Destruction’s new 31-point talent, Incinerate, deals 25% more to a target already burning with Immolate.
Why it matters: Rogues get a new finisher built around Poisons, and a Warlock’s damaging Bane no longer fights their utility Curses for the same target.
