Blizzard’s October 8 beta notes list the change: Booty Bay Bruiser’s Buckshot has lost its knockback.

Beta players found the gun in the week before, and Wowhead reported that its shot knocked back whoever it hit, player or NPC, with a clip from Payo of the chaos that followed. On October 6, Wowhead reported that a hotfix had already removed the knockback Community Wowhead — Booty Bay's most entertaining weapon just got nerfed. In Forever’s client files at build 1.60.1.70205, it is a Rare gun for level 30 that needs Honored with Booty Bay, and its on-use shot knocks the target away Datamined wowforever.ninja — Forever's client files, build 1.60.1.70205.
