Our files name the quest that offers Field Researcher’s Loop: Greater Friend of the Library, a level 35 quest open from level 20. Its other reward choice is Philanthropist’s Ring. Wowhead’s report explains how players unlock the quest.

The ring used to be Rogue-only, and Wowhead reports it is now open to all classes. Our copies of the files agree: in build 1.60.1.70124 the ring was limited to Rogues, and in build 1.60.1.70170 it has no class restriction. The same build lowered its item level from 40 to 35 and removed Strength from it, leaving Stamina and Agility.

Why it matters: any class that finishes the quest can now take the ring, not only Rogues.
