Social lockout message for Australian testers fixed
A login dialog told Australian beta testers their social features were locked. Kaivax called it a bug, now fixed.

On October 1, Kaivax, a Blizzard community manager, wrote on the forums that the new Forever beta build had an unexpected bug: it showed Australian players a dialog at login saying their social features were locked down. He said they were not, and that the team would fix it as soon as possible.
He has since updated his post to say the team has fixed the bug behind the dialog. The update is timed 04:00 AEDT on October 4, which was 10:00 Pacific on October 3.
Players in the thread reported limits beyond the message. Several said they could not mail items to their own alts, and others said they could not form a group or add friends. One wrote that the game had disabled their mail until they verified their age, that whispers and chat channels still worked, and that mail stayed blocked after they verified. After the fix, another asked whether it lifted those limits or only the dialog.
Why it matters: if you test from Australia, Blizzard says the bug behind the lockout dialog is fixed, so the dialog should no longer appear when you log in.
