Musical Gustjumper and two more new pets in Forever's files

Forever’s client files and our beta cache hold three companion pets that Classic never had. Each is a companion item whose tooltip teaches you to summon it, and they are three of more than 30 such items that Forever’s files add.

• Musical Gustjumper, a common item, with a matching non-combat pet in the creature records.
• Excitable Slime, also common. The slime appears twice in the creature records: once as the companion and once as a wild critter.
• Baby Crocolisk, uncommon and bound when picked up. Its details came from the item records the server sent our client rather than from the client tables.

Our records first show all three on September 22, and they are still there in build 1.60.1.70170.

Where each pet comes from is decided on the server, which our files can’t show. Wowhead’s two beta guides describe how players got them.

Why it matters: Forever is adding vanity pets of its own, and these three are among more than 30 companion items in its files.
