Whimsyfin Delight's Murloc and Ogre were placeholders

Update, October 1: Blizzard’s development notes for the October 1 beta build change what this dish does. Savory Whimsyfin Delight now uses orc versions of the ninja and pirate outfits from Classic’s Savory Deviate Delight. The Murloc and Ogre described below were placeholders, and Blizzard says it may bring back transformations like them later.

World of Warcraft: Forever has a Deviate Delight of its own. Until that update, Savory Whimsyfin Delight turned whoever ate it into a Murloc or an Ogre, by the character’s Body Type: Body Type 1 became a Murloc, Body Type 2 a massive Ogre. We saw it ourselves in the beta.

Forever’s client files carry the rest. The dish is a Cooking recipe at skill 85, made from one Whimsyfin and one Mild Spices, and taught by a recipe item. Its effect lasts up to 60 minutes and keeps Deviate Delight’s own text: “Eat me.” and “You feel funny.” Classic’s Savory Deviate Delight, with its ninja and pirate, is still in the files too.

Why it matters: it’s a cosmetic treat, not a new race. Murlocs and Ogres are not playable in Forever.
