Alliance can get a Kodo mount, spotted in the beta

Kodos have mostly been a Horde mount, but Wowhead reports one the Alliance can earn in World of Warcraft: Forever. Reins of the Pack Kodo is a reward from the Azeroth Commerce Authority, priced at 6,000 Merchant’s Favor, the faction’s currency.

The Azeroth Commerce Authority is new to Forever, though Season of Discovery players will know it: it debuted there alongside a Horde reputation, Durotar Supply and Logistics. You loot crates out in the world, such as Waylaid Crate: Apprentice Textiles, fill them and turn them in for Merchant’s Favor. Besides mounts, the currency buys crafting recipes, toys and other cosmetics.

The Alliance’s first Kodo mount was the Great Brewfest Kodo, back in The Burning Crusade.

Why it matters: an Alliance player who wants a Kodo now has a clear goal, 6,000 Merchant’s Favor from Commerce Authority crates.
