Steamwheedle Lost and Found mails you forgotten loot

In Classic-style WoW, loot left on a dead NPC or missed while a group moved on could simply disappear once the corpse despawned, with no way to recover it. Wowhead’s beta testing found that World of Warcraft: Forever fixes this with a new NPC service called the Steamwheedle Lost and Found, run by a goblin named Rix Xizzix. Players who remember Season of Discovery may recognize the organization; it appears to have made a permanent return in Forever.

Any loot a player doesn’t pick up in a dungeon is instead mailed to them by the Lost and Found afterward, so a forgotten Uncommon, Rare or even Epic item is no longer gone for good.

Why it matters: a full bag or a missed pickup no longer costs a group the item outright — it just arrives in the mail instead.
