Mounts hiding in the beta files

Wowhead’s datamining of the World of Warcraft: Forever beta has surfaced a large batch of new rideable ground mounts. The creature types found so far include devilsaurs, moose, skeletal horses and warhorses, warden sabers, kodos (including green, pack, lavender and caravan variants), galestriders, cranes, a spectral bear, a sabre cat, and a Venomhide Ravasaur, along with a Forsaken charger.

Most of these entries are still placeholder data pulled straight from the client — spell tooltips without finished names or art — so exact mount names, sources and rarity aren’t yet confirmed. One is named: a bear mount tied to a spell called “Veteran Adventurer’s Loyal Companion.”

Why it matters: it’s an early, incomplete signal that Forever is adding a substantial number of new mounts beyond Classic’s roster, but names and how to obtain them aren’t set until Blizzard confirms them or the beta client finalizes the data.
