Barbershops spotted in the beta

Barbershops are in World of Warcraft: Forever, letting players re-customize their character’s appearance, including body type and hairstyle, after creation. Wowhead confirmed a barbershop in Stormwind from beta and BlizzCon demo footage; the customization options appear identical to those offered at character creation, including a full randomize button.

The barbershop UI includes a toggle for high-definition models, which can be switched on or off while customizing. It isn’t yet confirmed whether using the barbershop will cost gold, as it originally did when introduced in Wrath of the Lich King before that cost was later removed.

Blizzard’s own beta known-issues list separately confirms barber chairs exist in the build, though it doesn’t describe their functionality.

Why it matters: players who want to change their look after character creation, without rerolling, will have a way to do it at launch.
