PvP gets its own progression
PvP gets a 14-rank Honor track every patch. Summoning stones are gone and mount costs are changing.

Blizzard spoke with Kotaku at BlizzCon 2026 about a handful of WoW: Forever systems. Summoning stones are being removed, and mount costs are changing, though Blizzard didn’t detail by how much.
The bigger reveal is a new PvP progression system: each patch cycle brings a 14-rank Honor track, earned by playing Battlegrounds and other PvP content. Progressing through it awards cosmetic rewards and PvP armor with stats attached.
Blizzard’s Tim Jones also discussed new battlegrounds, including the previously announced Darkspear Islands.
Why it matters: a per-patch Honor track gives PvP its own recurring progression loop, separate from leveling and raiding.
Tracked on everything we know.
