First look at Forever's new loading screens

Wowhead datamined eight new loading screens from the WoW: Forever client. The new Kalimdor screen shows Mount Hyjal in the distance and the Darkspear Islands battleground, plus the new ship route from Steamwheedle Port to the Riverglades. The Eastern Kingdoms screen shows Karazhan, Blackrock Mountain, Dalaran City and Stormwind’s harbor.

Zephras Isle, the Skyborne starting zone, and Dalaran, where the Kirin Tor’s Violet Citadel anchors the new City of Dalaran dungeon, each get their own screen. Three more cover dungeons: Old Ironforge, a ruined chamber beneath Ironforge’s High Seat; Excavation Site: Wetlands, set among the dinosaur-bone riverbeds atop Whelgar’s Excavation Site; and Ruins of Lordaeron, showing a broken gate at the city’s edge. A final screen for the Darkspear Islands battleground places players on the bridge onto the island.

Why it matters: loading screens are usually locked in late, so this is one of the clearer looks yet at what several of the nine new dungeons and the Skyborne starting zone actually look like.
