Blizzard’s Found Photos panel gave the first look at the Forsaken Paladin’s epic mount: a Forsaken take on the Charger, the class’s level 60 quest mount that Classic’s Alliance Paladins share. Wowhead reports the reveal came during the panel itself.
Blizzard also detailed the story behind the new race-and-class combination. The Forsaken Paladin journey grows out of the Warcraft III campaign Forsaken Kingdom, set at a time when these former paladins are still mistrusted by other Forsaken and are learning what it means to channel the Light in undeath. Bandarion Keep, in the Whispering Wood of Tirisfal Glades, is a key location for that story.
At level 60, Forsaken Paladins get their own epic mount quest. Blizzard frames the two versions by theme: Alliance Paladins’ quest is built around Redemption, while the Forsaken Paladins’ version is built around Retribution.
Why it matters: it’s the first concrete look at how Forever handles a brand-new race-and-class pairing, both visually and in the story that justifies it.
Tracked on everything we know.
