Beta opt-in is open now on Battle.net, ahead of Thursday's start
Players can opt in for a chance at World of Warcraft: Forever beta access on the game's Battle.net page now. Beta begins September 17; buying the Skyborne Epic Pack also grants access.

With beta starting September 17, Blizzard has opened opt-in for a chance at World of Warcraft: Forever beta access. Signed-in players can head to the game’s page on Battle.net and press Beta Opt-In. Purchasing the Skyborne Epic Pack is a separate route that guarantees beta access rather than an opt-in chance; the cheaper Heroic Pack does not include it.
Opting in does not guarantee a spot — it’s a chance at access, the same model Blizzard has used for past beta programs.
Why it matters: it’s the only free path into the beta, and it’s open now, days before the beta itself begins.
