Forever's new zones: Mount Hyjal, Shen'dralas, the Riverglades and Zephras Isle

The What’s Next panel put names on the map. Forever’s new content runs through both continents as a mix of new regions and finished-off corners of the original world, with more than a thousand new quests across the 1 to 60 journey.

Four areas were called out. Mount Hyjal is set after Archimonde’s defeat and includes Darkwhisper Gorge, with the player helping the land recover. Shen’dralas opens up the space between Mulgore and Desolace, tied to the Shen’dralar, Eldre’Thalas, Dire Maul and the region’s centaur tribes. The Riverglades is a frontier of rivers, grasslands and trade routes with more than 150 new quests covering most of the mid-30s to mid-40s. Zephras Isle is the Skyborne starting experience, levels 1 through 12, with architecture inspired by Skywall.

Wowhead notes the full zone list is not yet public, so this is the highlight reel rather than the whole map.

Why it matters: the Riverglades band fills the leveling stretch that vanilla always left thin, and Zephras Isle confirms the new race gets a proper twelve-level start rather than a short intro.
