Forever is getting new PvP alongside its leveling and raid content. Blizzard’s write-up of the What’s Next panel confirms a new battleground: the Darkspear Islands, a 15-versus-15 fight staged off the coast of Kalimdor.
Blizzard describes the map as blending two familiar PvP formats: holding strategic points, plus capturing and defending flags in the style of Arathi Basin. The post adds only that PvP updates and new rewards will keep arriving alongside it, without a release date or further detail.
Update, October 7: Blizzard has since detailed the battleground: four capture points and one central flag, for levels 30 to 60, with a reputation for each faction.
Why it matters: it is the first PvP-specific content confirmed for Forever, beyond the general note that PvP updates are part of the roadmap.
